Sarsfields will re-open their magnificent club grounds at Riverstown on this Saturday night when Waterford Crystal winners Waterford take on Cork in a senior {joomplu:92 left} hurling challenge as both teams continue their build up to the national league opener on the following weekend.
Cork had a workout against Clare on last Saturday night cancelled by fog at the turning on of the lights in Fermoy, while Waterford were winning the Waterford Crystal trophy with victory over UCC at the Fraher Field on Sunday. Sarsfields have certainly built on their success in the 2008 county hurling final, by undertaking the re-development of their main playing pitch and installing a new flood lighting system.
