Diary Date – Just confirmed that Ballyhale Shamrocks will play Sarsfields on Sat. 29th March at Riverstown for the Micka Brennan trophy. The Kilkenny side which includes Henry Sheflin, T.J Reid, and the Fennelly brothers,will no doubt provide stern opposition for the home side
Micka Brennan is a name synonymous with Sarsfields Hurling Club. A member of Cork’s four-in-a-row team, he gave a lifetime of service to Sars, both on and off the field. Micka was a native of Castlecomer Co. Kilkenny.
