A very enjoyable evening was held in Sarsfields Hurling Club on St. Patrick’s Day. Many thanks to the Marron family for providing an excellent selection of Irish instrumental music. Entertainment was also provided by local singers John O’Callaghan and Michael Ronan with Ryan McCarthy on the tin whistle. Ber O’Connell School of Dancing, local set dancers Marie Duggan and Ann Walsh and our own step dancer Frank Houlihan kept the dance floor going for the evening. We also wish the thank Donnie Carroll, our MC for the evening.
