Sarsfields Juvenile Hurling Club is a vibrant hurling club catering for 360 boys from the ages of 5 to 16 years of age. We provide regular coaching sessions, fun games and blitzes, competitive competitions, an annual summer school, outings & trips and many enjoyable activities in a safe environment with an emphasis on participation and improvement of hurling skills. To succeed in all this we need funds and financial support to cover the on-going costs of running the club. We do not charge a regular subscription for attending training, matches or referee fees. Last year we spent €8500 on hurleys, €3500 on sliothars, and €2000 on equipment, and had many other costs also.
On Thursday October 23rd our Annual Table Quiz will take place in Sarsfields clubhouse.This is one of our major fund-raising events for the year. Grandons Car Sales have kindly sponsored the quiz night. There will be spot prizes on the night and a great evening is guaranteed.
