Congratulations to St. Joseph’s Riverstown who defeated St Anthony’s Ballinlough 2-6 to 0-2 in the Sciath na Scoil Final today. The lads , despite playing without the injured Eoin Murphy and Aidan Barry, gave a great display of direct, first time hurling. No doubt coach Jim Hackett will be pleasesd with this performance, and at the conclusion of the game, proud captain Tristan O’ Leary accepted the trophy on behalf of the very happy St Joseph panel.
