LATEST NEWS:
Congratulations to our superb U16A team & mentors who won the County League Final on Sat 12th October in Castle Rd beating Killeagh 1-18 to 3-6. A highlight of the game was our girls ability to take their points, some from acute angles. This really was a team performance with every player excelling. The movement on & off the ball was a thrill to watch. The team’s championship hopes are also still alive with a semi final date against Glen Rovers still outstanding. Congratulations to Katie Barry who was named as Player of the Match for her solid performance at centre back.

Our U15As were crowned Imokilly Champions for 2013 when they beat Killeagh on a scoreline of 3-11 to 1-11 recently in Youghal. This was a tight affair, as is always the case with our encounters with Killeagh. Sars opened up in the second half when Michelle Barry found the net twice to put a bit of breathing space between the teams. Sinead & Aisling O’Brien accepted the trophy as joint captains on behalf of the team. 10th Oct ’13
2012:
The year 2012 was without doubt the most successful in the club’s history with over 7 major trophies on display at recent AGM.
Our Intermediates were first off the mark with their magnificent victory over Lorrha (Tipp) in the Munster Intermediate League in June.
Our underage sector’s highlight was the defending our U14A county title plus a clean sweep of Imokilly titles (U15A, U15B, U13A & U13B-Plate) within East Cork.
Our Minor county title over St Finbarrs in November was the icing on the cake & rounded off the year nicely.
U16s still remain in competition with their league semi-final v Kilbrittain carried over into 2013.
