Sarsfields lost a staunch member with the passing of Paddy Walsh this morning. A trojan worker with Sarsfields Juvenile Club – he acted as Chairman for many years, and at the time of death was President of Sarsfields Juvenile Club.
Prior to the opening of our Club Pavilion, it was customary for our successful juvenile teams on returning with their trophies to Riverstown, to be treated to complimentary chips, burgers and orange by Paddy and Ann at the Old Court Takeaway.
