Sarsfields began the defence of their Avondhu/Imokilly league title with a hard earned 1-13 to 1-8 win over Midleton at Riverstown this eveniing. Cormac Duggan notched the all important goal, while Aidan O’Neill, Cathal Duggan and Jeff Leopold also made telling contributions to the victory.
