Cloyne was no place for the faint hearted as Sarsfields & Carrigtwohill battled for eighty minutes to determine who progressed to the quarter- final of the East Cork.championship. Ultimately Luke Hackett provided the winning point deep in extra time, but this was all about a huge panel effort to secure a great victory. Great credit to the lads as they turned a nine point deficit into a one point victory. Special word for experienced Brian Mc Carthy, who who came straight from overseeing the arrival of his new baby daughter. All part of the life of a Sars hurler. Well done lads.
Extra Time Victory.
