Garvan Mc Carthy addresses the troops after Sarsfields fine 1-13 to 0-12 victory over Carrignavar in the Junior League this evening at Carrignavar. Trailing 0-8 to 0-3 at the interval, Sars staged a fine second half recovery and eventually won 1-13 to 0-12. The scoring exploits of substitute Daniel O’Mahoney (1-3) and a full length diving save from custodian Cathal Duggan contributed enormously to the victory.
