James Cussen & James Sweeney were both on the score sheet, as Sarsfields edged out Ballygiblin 1-23 to 4-9 at Riverstown this evening. This well contested Avondhu / Imokilly league provided the attendance with an excellent hour’s hurling with the home side giving a great display of point taking. However it was a well taken goal from Cormac Duggan that provided daylight for Sars and ensured two more vital league points.
