Our Junior A Hurlers kick started our Championship weekend with a resounding 3-17 to 1-10 victory over Dungourney at Clonmult Pk. this evening. Certainly Manager Seanie Farrell must have been pleased with the excellent work rate of the entire team. Leading by 12 points to 5 at the interval, Dungourney started the second half brightly and came within three points of Sars with 13 mins remaining. However, three great goals from Jordan Gaine (2) and a cracker from Cormac Duggan propelled us to a well deserved victory. From goalkeeper Ronan O’Regan to corner forward John Murphy the full squad worked themselves to a stand still to record a well deserved victory.
