Sarsfields Minor hurlers battled to the final whistle, but eventually went under to Charleville 3-17 to 2-16 at Ballyhooley this evening. Conor Hurley, Daniel O’ Mahony and Mairtin Fleming were most conspicious over the hour. Also impressing was young substitute James O’ Sullivan,who won a penalty and also notched a great goal. Encouragiing signs from a team who now await the losers of Mallow v Shandrum to maintain their interest in the championship.
